Les Planes d’Hostoles comes alive with music, culture and a festive atmosphere to celebrate the Sant Jaume Festival, with activities for all ages.

Sant Cristòfol Church – Les Planes d’Hostoles
A musical evening in the heart of the village to welcome summer with two guest choirs.
The Sant Cristòfol Church will host a choral concert featuring Choeur de l’Aspre de Thuir (Northern Catalonia) and the local Coral Retorn Planenc (Les Planes d’Hostoles), in a setting full of charm and beautiful acoustics.
Free entry – everyone is welcome.

An afternoon of circus, music, workshops and nature in the heart of Les Planes d’Hostoles.
The ARK association (Rural Actions for Culture) organises an open-air festival with quality circus shows, outdoor exhibitions, craft stalls, workshops for all ages and live music.
Bar and food service will be available. Free entry.

In the centre of Les Planes d’Hostoles
A full day of activities celebrating Catalan culture and traditions in the heart of Les Planes d’Hostoles.
The streets are filled with stalls selling books, flowers and handmade crafts. Highlights include a classic car exhibition, a lace-making demonstration, and a concert by the group Xiula, for children and adults alike.
An ideal opportunity to enjoy the spirit of Sant Jordi in a natural and peaceful setting, at a stone’s throw from the hotel.

In Olot, 20 minutes from the hotel
The festival that detects movement of the body and the planet returns this spring to Olot with a rich programme of dance, contemporary creation and nature-based experiences.
Sismògraf is more than a dance festival – it is a space for reflection and experimentation that connects art with the local territory. This year’s theme focuses on food and forests, with performances and installations exploring the connection between creativity and nature.

Dijous i divendres les presentacions de llibres a la biblioteca, dissabte recital de vers en vers i el diumenge una jornada plena d’activitats per celebrar la cultura i les tradicions catalanes al cor de Les Planes d’Hostoles.
La Fira de Sant Jordi omple els carrers del poble amb parades de llibres, artesania i flors, en una atmosfera acollidora i familiar. També s’hi pot gaudir de la trobada de cotxes clàssics, l’exhibició de puntaires i el espectacle infantil amb als Atrapasomnis.

La Terra de Remences és una de les marxes cicloturistes més emblemàtiques de Catalunya, amb sortida i arribada a Sant Esteve d’en Bas. Es tracta d’una prova no competitiva que reuneix milers de ciclistes en un ambient proper i festiu.
La marxa ofereix dos recorreguts: un de més curt, d’uns 100 km i desnivell moderat, i un altre de més exigent, de més de 170 km, amb ports com el Coll de Bracons. El traçat recorre paisatges espectaculars de la Garrotxa, el Ripollès i Osona, combinant carreteres tranquil·les, pobles amb encant i una bona organització.
Més que una sortida en bicicleta, és una experiència compartida que uneix esport, natura i territori en una jornada única.
